Track Lobby Support

Track Lobby brings together federal lobbying records, congressional rosters, FEC filings, Federal Register notices, and Supreme Court opinions in one place.

This page covers common questions, data sources, and how to contact us.

FAQ

How do I report incorrect data?

Track Lobby uses official federal data sources including Congress.gov, the Federal Election Commission, the Senate Lobbying Disclosure Act database, CourtListener, and the Federal Register.

If something looks incorrect, email the record ID or link to [email protected] and we'll compare it against the original source.

Why can't I find a member, bill, or filing?

Some government sources update slowly, so new records can take a few hours to appear.

Track Lobby refreshes most datasets several times per hour.

If something still seems missing, email [email protected] with the name or identifier you expected to see and we'll investigate.

How do filters work?

Filters appear at the top of each section of the app.

You can filter by chamber, party, committee, date range, and other available categories depending on the view you're using.

Filter settings are stored locally on your device and reset between sessions.

Can I export data?

Not yet.

Most of the underlying data is public, and the official sources listed below offer their own export and bulk-download options.

If there's a specific export workflow you'd like to see, email [email protected].

Is my data private?

Yes. Track Lobby does not require an account and does not use analytics or third-party trackers.

See the full Track Lobby privacy policy for more information.
