Track Lobby Privacy Policy
TL;DR
Track Lobby collects no personal data. We don't use analytics, we don't track you, we don't require an account, and we don't share anything with third parties. The app shows public federal data. That's it.
Who we are
This privacy policy is published by Freshcod3s LLC, a West Virginia limited liability company (the “Company”, “we”, or “us”). Track Lobby is our product.
- Privacy questions / data requests: [email protected]
- Developer page: https://freshcod3s.com
What we collect
Nothing personal.
- No name, email, phone number, or address
- No analytics or telemetry of any kind — no Google Analytics, Plausible, Sentry, Mixpanel, or equivalent
- No cookies
- No advertising identifiers
- No third-party SDKs that track you
When you use the app, your device sends standard network requests through our Cloudflare Workers proxy to fetch public federal data from sources like Congress.gov, the FEC, the Lobbying Disclosure Act database, CourtListener, and the Federal Register. Like any internet request, these include your IP address.
We use your IP address temporarily, in memory only, for rate limiting (currently 60 requests per 60 seconds per IP). It is not logged, persisted, or shared.
Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider, processes requests at its global edge network and may log standard request metadata (IP, user agent, timestamp) according to Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not control those logs and do not have access to them in aggregated or identifiable form.
Local device storage
Track Lobby uses local storage on your device to cache federal-data responses for offline use and to remember your filter preferences. Three local stores are used:
- On iOS and Android, this storage is AES-encrypted at rest by the operating system.
- On the web, this storage lives in browser memory only and is cleared when you close the tab.
This data never leaves your device. We cannot read it, sync it, or back it up.
What we don't collect
- Authentication credentials — there is no login
- Email addresses — there is no email collection
- Push notification tokens — we don't send push notifications
- Payment information — the app is free (see "Tip jar" below)
- Location data
- Your contacts, photos, calendar, or microphone
The app requests no device permissions beyond standard network access.
Tip jar / in-app purchases
Track Lobby includes a four-tier optional tip jar. As of the effective date of this policy, the tip jar is not active — in-app purchase products are not yet configured in the App Store or Google Play Console. The in-app-purchase framework is present in the app's code but lands in its designed "products not configured" fallback state.
When the tip jar activates (we will update this policy at that time), in-app purchases will be processed entirely by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) under their own privacy policies. We will only receive confirmation from Apple or Google that a purchase occurred — we will never see your name, billing address, or payment method.
Children's privacy
Track Lobby is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data from anyone, this is automatic.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no data to request, export, or delete from our servers.
If you are an EU/UK resident covered by GDPR, or a California resident covered by CCPA/CPRA, you have rights to access, correct, port, and delete personal data we hold about you. We hold none.
If you have questions or concerns, email [email protected] and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If we change what data Track Lobby collects, we will update this page and the "Last Updated" date at the top. Material changes (for example, if we add analytics or activate the tip jar) will also be announced in-app.
